Try Chivalry 2 for free on May 27 during the cross-play open beta

Chivalry 2 invites all players to fight in medieval arenas next weekend, during which the cross-play open beta will take place.

Specifically, the beta will start on Thursday, May 27 and will end on Tuesday, June 1. This trial version will be available for all platforms which the game will be released and will allow players to try out the new Team Objective maps (The Slaughter of Coxwell, The Siege of Rudhelm and The Battle of Darkforest) or try their luck at The Battle of Wardenglade and Tournament Grounds which are Team Deathmatch or Free For All maps.

Players on PlayStation platforms will be able to play the beta even if they do not have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. The Xbox, however, will require Xbox Live Gold, although the restriction on free to play games has recently been lifted.

Chivalry 2 is expected to be released on June 8 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. Watch below the video announcement of the open beta.
